uPVC
Profile 22 optima is a high-grade profile that is a fully-integrated full 70mm system, available in both chamfered and sculptured variations and is used nationally all over the UK.
A chamfered frame is a more traditional look and is normally the framework, transoms, mullions and bead of choice this is because the flush casement in the window vent has a chamfer on the front face and is not extruded with a sculptured finish. In flush casements, the sculptured option will change the outer frame, transom and mullions and bead to be sculptured.
The profile 22 optima system meets all requirements for thermal efficiency as standard, and a wealth of intelligent design features have been added in the development of the profile. As standard having 6 thermal chambers, as Windows Trade Plus uses RCM as standard this increases the chambers to 8, which is market leading thermal efficiency and structural rigidity. There is also strategic local wall thickening used to increase the two external faces durability, and within the extruded components for better hardware retention and screw grip where required.

Gasket
With Profile 22, optima gaskets are co-extruded as part of the extrusion process, meaning there is never shrinkage, in turn improving the longevity of the casement window in heat efficiency and weather tightness.
The PCE 'D' gasket has been tried and tested for giving a direct sightline which is a unique feature throughout the window range.
When opting for the flush casement windows, Windows Trade Plus uses a unique quad seal combination, consisting of two standard gaskets which are complimented with a soft wall pile in the centre of the window, and external medium wool pile with an integrated fin which seals to the rubber gasket on the outer edge of the flush casement vent.

Ancillaries
Profile 22 optima has an extensive range of frame packers (sometime referred to as knock-ons or add-ons), giving you confidence, every configuration can be addressed. Bridging packers for the glass units are provided free of charge with all items manufactured at Windows Trade Plus to make sure the glass has a free flow of air to the unit.

Internal Bead
All windows and doors from the profile 22 optima range are manufactured as standard to be internal glazed, adding security and ease of fitting. In addition to this the window have been security passed and are ready for proposed enhancements to PAS 24.

Welded Cills and Auto Size Changes
Bay windows
Windows Trade Plus's commitment to quality is evident in the welded cill. As all cills are manufactured and then moved to the inspection area to cool, and then rechecked before the cill is polished and buffed. If the cill is a foiled product then they are knifed to remove the over weld.
Windows Trade Plus designer has a mathematical system that calculates the size of the windows allowing for the poles from the angle inputted. For example; a three-sided 135 angle bay window, the frames will reduce by approximately 42mm, so in effect each window will reduce by 21mm, this will then be taken into account without you knowing and will filter to the correct design.
