uPVC
uPVC vertical sliders are designed to have the features of a traditional box sash timber window and have authentic features, meaning that the windows are commonly passed for use in heritage and conservation zones.
The uPVC sliders come as standard with a tilt function for ease of cleaning. The framework is manufactured at 128mm which matches timber sash dimensions. The framework is an ovolo shape to the external frame, beads and sashes. The sliding section is a slim vent which gives maximum sight lines.
There are two options for the traditional horns, the run through which are what Windows Trade Plus recommends, as the horn is milled into the profile achieving a more solid construction or the heritage horn which is a clipped-on attachment.

Gasket
Gaskets with profile 22 Spectus are co-extruded as part of the extrusion process, meaning there is never shrinkage, in turn improving the longevity of the casement window in heat efficiency and weather tightness. The internal section of a slider has a brush wool pile making the sliding frictionless with a positive seal at all times.

Internal Bead
All windows from the profile 22 Spectus vertical slider ovolo range are manufactured as standard to be internal glazed, adding security and ease of fitting. On top of this the window have been security passed and are ready for proposed enhancements to PAS 24.
