The euro cylinder or generally referred to as the barrel; there are a number of options a key inside and out, thumb turn inside and a key outside there is a number of reasons for this:

• For ease of locking a front door from inside without a key, we find that they are used a lot on porch doorways.

Thresholds are an important part of the physical usage of doors and the overall design of the door. As standard the door will come with a full frame threshold (70mm approx) but there are options to have a low frame work (60mm approx), or a stormguard low threshold AM range which classes as a disabled threshold. You have to be a little careful with this to allow the internal floor not to catch on the door sash if sat directly onto a stone cill. Sometimes trickle vents are required, and are fitted into the door sash, this can make a difference to the aesthetics of a door. For this reason, Windows Trade Plus uses trickle vents manufactured by RW Simon. These have a softer line and are colour coded to your door.

Panels

Windows Trade Plus offers an extensive range of panels for your front or back door. You will find on the designer that as you go through the process that it becomes a simple choice. The main designer factor is the style of the panel you require followed by the type of design of glass, all panels that are designed with coloured film use a 6mm edge leading to define the essence of the design. If a standard lead design is used, i.e diamond lead, these are also manufactured in 6mm lead, if a standard lead design is to be used then it would be better to use a back door style and a top mullion so the lead work can be balanced with 9mm lead.
