The width of the midrails will determined by the choice of door design you have chosen. Windows Trade Plus will decide of the best option for this when manufacturing.

This is the position of the midrail opted for in the door sections of the arch door.

If you do not select a custom midrail height this is supplied automatically at 850mm for standard door designs. If you have a panelled door, the midrail will be set appropriately according to the panel design. You can also select the height you desire. This height is measured from the bottom of the frame to the centre of the midrail.
Please note this does not include any cill or frame extenders requested.
The thickness of the midrail is determined by a letterbox, If a letterbox is required, a 110mm midrail will be used otherwise a 85mm midrail will be used.

The height of the cill is 30mm, the different depth options will distinguish the overhang from the frame, which will be 70mm shorter than the size stated as this is the width of the frame.

A full frame threshold will have an upstand of 70mm. A low uPVC threshold will have an upstand of 60mm. A disabled threshold is a Stormguard aluminium threshold which is part M approved.
If a colour (gold or chrome) is not stated in the notes of the product, we will choose the colour we feel is more in keeping with the selected door.

Your glass type represents how strong your glass is. Annealed is the common name for float glass and tempered glass is the common name for toughened glass.
Toughened safety glass is required in certain areas. Please see the building regulation information page if unsure whether to use toughened glass or float glass.
Laminated glass is two pieces of annealed glass which is stuck together with a film. Laminated glass is classed as a safety glass usually used for extra security such as shop fronts and part Q building regulation requirements.

The rating of your glass represents how energy efficient your glass is.
A Rated is the best glass for energy rating, while none rated is the lowest but also the cheapest.
The acoustic value represents how much sound the glass can dampen; the higher the acoustic value the more sound it can dampen. High acoustic glass is ideal for areas where there is going to be a lot of external noise.
The makeup of the units will change in line with your choice here.

This will be the extruded uPVC internal beading that your windows will be manufactured with. Our standard beading is sculptured but we do also offer chamfered internal beading if the frame profile is selected as chamfered.
